Sevasadan Community Development Foundation noticed that girls are dropping out of school because of the long distance from home to school while working in the community. Sevasadan Foundation has decided to implement cycle bank scheme so that girls can go to school every day and their right to education remains intact. In this, the foundation will give 10 bicycles per month to students through schools. After the completion of education of that student, that cycle will be given to another student. In this way one cycle will be used for at least 5 years and maximum number of girls will benefit from it. This initiative was started on 13th April 2021. Today finally more than 100 bicycles were distributed. To achieve this objective, Seva Sadan Foundation aims to distribute 1000 such bicycles
Sevasadan Community Development Foundation has been conducting study classes for students from class 1st to 10th at Kaikadivasti in Miraj for the past ten years. All necessary help is provided for their education. Various competitions are organized to encourage the students and give prizes. English speaking is now organized for them. A painting competition was conducted at Radhabai Girls High School, Mysal by Sevasdan Community Development Foundation on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Swantatriya. 100 female students from class VI to 10 participated in this competition which was held in two groups. The topics for the competition were 'Beti Bachha Beti Padhav', 'Plant trees - Save the trees', 'Har Ghar Triranga'. Prizes were given to the winners, notebooks, pens and food were distributed to all the participating girls. Sevasdan Community Development Foundation, Rotary Foundation and T. Adult Literacy Program was started in 10 villages in association with B.Lulla Charitable Foundation. Vasantdada Patil Institute of Management Research provided basic training in computer to 22 girls.
