Women Awareness Program

Under Atmanirbhar Bharat, 400 women were trained to become self-reliant in association with Sevasdan Community Development Foundation and Dattopant Thengdi National Rural Education and Development Board, Pune. The chief guest of the program was B. G. Kuruwalkar created awareness about the benefits of savings, government schemes for business. Information about Ishram Card, Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Pension Yojana was given. The government has started this scheme for unorganized workers. All women should benefit from it. All information about this scheme was given at this time. Doubts were cleared. In this way 350 women were guided in different villages.

Sewasdan Mahila Bank

Sevasadhan Foundation established Mahila Shatt Group Bank by women for women for women empowerment. Any woman can become a member by buying shares once. In this background, the annual general meeting of the Seva Sadan Women's Savings Bank Group is held and the share of that financial year is allotted. This time 15% dividend was given to women. Today there are 70 women members.

Planning Project

Sevasdan Community Development Foundation organized a discussion for women who want to and are doing business at Sevasdan Gurukul Miraj on 14th August 2022. Industry Bharari Programme

Fabric bag making

Six seamstress women have been given the job of sewing cloth bags in Dhavali (T. Miraj). Cloth bags are made using old hospital bed sheets. These bags are used to carry medicines. At the same time, socks, gloves, caps, drawsheets, etc. are manufactured and sold for hospitals. Similarly, uniforms of nurses, doctors, other staff are made, and these clothes are given to a needy woman and sewn by her. From this, sewing women have got home business. Hands are busy. It is empowering women.

Paper bags

The women of Durganagar and Subhashnagar have been given the task of making paper bags and small paper envelopes for giving medicines. Tried to empower women by buying it.

Visit to soap factory

Part of women's empowerment is for them to start different businesses. Now while he is doing it, he visited Mohan Jain's soap factory in Kawthepiran to get information about what things need to be kept in mind, how to get share capital, how and where registration is done, why T is needed etc. On 12 April 2021 Dr. Deepa Patil and the workers of the organization participated in this meeting. On this occasion, Mohan Jain welcomed everyone and said that patience, planning, quality and cleanliness are important in doing business. Pride of cleaning women

Haldi kunkva program was organized by the foundation for women sanitation workers of Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Municipal Corporation. Along with turmeric, awareness was also raised about their health problems. Mrs. Sarojini Patil was the president of this program. On this occasion, sanitary pads and sugar were distributed to the women of this deprived section. This program was organized so that these women who are truly serving the public by doing cleaning work should be treated with respect. The program received good response.
